If you've ever seen NBC's "The Office" (American version), then the name Mifflin may sound familiar to you! This is Mifflin Ave. in, where else, Scranton, PA!
This past weekend we went snowboarding in the Poconos at Shawnee Mt. This is a picture of the "learning" slope aka "bunny" slope where I spent most of my time! (technically not in Philadelphia, but very close!)
This one goes out to my sister, who had a Ninja Turtles birthday party when she turned 4! Saw this guy in Rittenhouse Square the other day! Heros on a half shell, turtle power! (if you dont know what I'm talking about- where were you in the 80's and early 90's??)
Their store might not be open but they still want to pay you a compliment!

In honor of President's Day i have chosen this picture of a historic site in Philly. This is Independence Hall in the historic area of Center City. Sorry I missed posting yesterday!
The guy caught my eye while I was walking around the city. I love how the snow stuck in certain places, giving him snow hair!
Welcome to snow week! You may not think snow is as exciting as I do, but since this is my first winter living somewhere that has snow, I am just loving taking photos of it! I saw this snowman in a parking lot and he is HUGE! I might try to make a snowman on my back deck later today, but it will be no where near this size!
I hope you enjoy my snow picutres!
Before and after (actually during). The top shot was taken at 8:30pm on Friday night, right after the storm started. The bottom shot was taken at 8:30am on Saturday. It got worse from there, but I couldn't figure out how to make 3 pictures look good in a collage! This storm was the second worst in Philadelphia history! Needless to say, I will be taking the train to work on Monday! (this isnt my car, but my car does have a big bubble of snow surrounding it)
This is Boathouse Row along the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. I love this area because each house is painted and designed slightly different from the others and at night they are all lit up with twinkle lights which is so pretty! This shot was taken from the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) and of course I was not driving!! (P.S.- its pronounced like skoo-kul, not school-kill) :-)
This is my favorite picture I took at the car show! This is a view you see coming down the elevator from the exotic car section to the Mercedes/Lexus area. My husband really loves cars so I just took tons of pictures at the show & wanted to share them!
