This is a view of Boathouse Row from the river. The small waterfall is from the river's water works, which used to be the biggest water treatment plant in the country, and is now a museum about water.
On a boat tour of the river you can see this statue of a fisherman. He was lost during a flood but found again, although his fishing pole was lost forever!
The fountain outside the Comcast building in Center Center seems like a good place to cool off on a hot summer day!

Here is another Phillies Phanatic statue I saw around the city! This one seems to be painted in the theme of "Starry Night." I wonder how many of these statues I will see?
This lovely gem recently popped up on the front of this garage building which I pass by almost daily. One day it wasn't there and then the next is was. I'm not really sure what the message in this painting is? I'm not really sure if the owners wanted this painted on their garage or if some random person just went ahead and did it. Honestly, I think its pretty ugly, but that's just me. Which of course leads to the age old question "is this art"?
I'm sure that foxes aren't unique to this area but I just think this little guy is so cute that I had to share this picture! We saw him in Valley Forge Park, which is right outside Philadelphia.
Ever seen the show "Parking Wars"? Well, one of the cities it takes place in is Philadelphia and people here just love to hate the PPA (Philadelphia Parking Authority). This picture is a little bit of poetic justice, with the PPA car being towed! Made me smile and I wasn't the only one taking this picture!
