I met a famous person!

Yep, that's me with Kevin Nealon! He did a show at Helium Comedy Club which is in the Rittenhouse area and I got a picture with him after. You probably recognize him from Saturday Night Live and more recently the show Weeds which is on Showtime.

Fresh Apple

The opening of the new Apple store was a big to-do a couple of weeks ago. It's the first apple store in Philadelphia. We decided not to go in because it was super crowded. I heard that there were 300 people in line that morning!

Starry Night Phanatic

Here is another Phillies Phanatic statue I saw around the city! This one seems to be painted in the theme of "Starry Night." I wonder how many of these statues I will see?

Free Hugs

As we watched the Free Hug people try to hand out hugs, another group walked  by with signs proclaiming "Smile, you are beautiful."  The smile people and the hug people met in a giant happy, smiley hug-atopia (it was amazing).

Please keep off grass

As we can see, these signs and yellow rope are very effective!

(although this guy did have a really cute puppy!)

Saturday Cutie

Since its Saturday I thought I'd post something a little different than usual.  This is my dog, Rocky!  This photo is from Rittenhouse Square.  He didn't get any cupcakes, though he tried!  But, he did enjoy the jazz music with us.

Spring is in the air

The windows at Anthropology in Rittenhouse Square are ready for Spring (as are most Philadelphians!)!  I love this store and their window displays are always so pretty!

This one goes out to my sister, who had a Ninja Turtles birthday party when she turned 4!  Saw this guy in Rittenhouse Square the other day!  Heros on a half shell, turtle power! (if you dont know what I'm talking about- where were you in the 80's and early 90's??)
