I love the way to snow covers everything!
This is my back patio area. We live in the city so we dont have a big yard!

Have a Sweet Christmas!

Candy house at Hershey Park! The house is made totally out of Hershey's brand candy and gum! Even the windows that look like stained glass are actually melted jolly ranchers! Hershey Park is about two hours away from Philadelphia and is definitely a sweet (ha!) place to visit!

It's begining to look a lot like...

Thanksgiving!
This house always has tons of decoration for whatever holiday will be coming up next! As soon as one holiday is over, decorations for the next one go up! Every time you walk by here you are sure to see some sort of holiday decor.

An orange cat peeking out of the window at us! Cats sit in the window at houses all over the city. They are so cute!

Elfreth's Alley

Elfreth's Alley is the oldest residential street in the United States! It is still used today, and most of the houses are still occupied. (27 out of 32 are currently lived in)

row row row your home

Classic Philadelphia row homes. I love the look of these streets when the homes all have painted different color shutters and doors!

Nothing Happened.

All over Philadelphia there are signs giving you information about historic sites and houses.  But this person decided to go the sarcastic route with their historical marker!

"On this site in 1897 Nothing Happened"

views from the highway

This is Boathouse Row along the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.  I love this area because each house is painted and designed slightly different from the others and at night they are all lit up with twinkle lights which is so pretty!  This shot was taken from the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) and of course I was not driving!!  (P.S.- its pronounced like skoo-kul, not school-kill) :-)
